Download the free desktop client for Windows. It takes about 2 minutes to get running.
Download for WindowsClick the download button above. You'll get a file called OverlayRemote.zip. Right-click it and choose "Extract All" (or just double-click to open it). Put the folder wherever you want — your Desktop is fine.
Open the OverlayRemote folder and double-click Start.vbs. The first time, a window will pop up to install some things (takes about 30 seconds). After that, the app launches silently with no console window.
Windows might show a "protected your PC" warning — click "More info" then "Run anyway". This is normal for downloaded scripts.
There's also a Start.bat if you prefer seeing a console window (useful for troubleshooting).
The app appears as a small icon in your system tray (bottom-right corner of your screen, near the clock). Right-click it to see your pairing code, copy your session link, change visibility, or open the control panel.
It lives in your system tray (the small icons area at the bottom-right of your screen, near the clock). You might need to click the little "^" arrow to see it. Right-click the icon for all options.
Not if you use Start.vbs — it runs completely hidden. If you used Start.bat instead, yes, a console stays open (you can minimize it). Either way, the app closes when you right-click the tray icon and choose "Quit".
Share your pairing code or session URL (right-click tray icon → "Copy Session URL"). Others can visit this website and enter your code to start sending overlays.
Download Node.js from nodejs.org (click the green LTS button), install it, then try Start.bat again. You may need to restart your computer after installing Node.js.
Yes. The app only receives display commands from the server. It can't access your files, camera, or anything else on your computer. The overlay appears on top of everything but you can click right through it.
